Clarke County's Junior Miss 2009

Julie Dozier, the daughter of Dr. Frank and Dr. Daveta Dozier of Thomasville, was selected as the 2009 Clarke County Junior Miss on May 3, 2008. She is a junior at Thomasville High School.

In addition to winning the overall title, Julie was also selected as the Spirit of Junior Miss, the Interview Winner, and was an Alternate in the Scholastic, Poise and Talent Categories! Julie presented a vocal solo "For Good" from the Broadway musical WICKED for her talent presentation.

As Clarke County's Junior Miss for 2009, Julie was awarded a Presidential Scholarship to Alabama Southern Community College, including full tuition and books, a $2000 book/tuition scholarship from Clarke-Mobile Gas, a $300 book/tuition scholarship from Harrigan Lumber Company, and a $200 book/tuition scholarship from Olin. She was also awarded a $200 book/tuition scholarship from Junior Miss benefactors. In addition, Julie was presented with the official Junior Miss Medallion, a Revere Bowl, and flowers.
